Flower Medicine through the Lens of Ifa
Osanyin's Gift establishes the practice of Flower Essences Therapy within the the healing framework of pre-colonial, Afro- Indigenous healing traditions. In this interactive workshop, you'll explore the myths of Osanyin, the Orisha that governs all herbs and plants. These sacred stories offer an Afro-Indigenous understanding of the relationship between the natural and spiritual worlds. Participants will also engage in imaginative exploration of the life of Dr Edward Bach, the founder of as contemporary Flower Essence Therapy, through the lens of Ifa. This workshop is open to anyone who is interested in traditions that honor sacred plant medicine, as well as those who are curious about African Diasporic and Indigenous approaches to using plant medicine for psychological well being. Discover the intimate relationship between nature, spiritual practice, and emotional healing. Selective readings for this course will be available on the Spirit Seed's private online community.

Baba Ifasanmi Fayemi
Chief Baba Ifasanmi Fayemi, also known as Chief Aara Bgwoniyi, is an initiated priest in the Ifá spiritual tradition, recognized as “the wisdom of nature.” He was initiated in 2010 in Ode Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, through the Awoyade Adesanya lineage by Chief Oluwo Baba Femi Fayemi (O.I.D.S.I.). Chief Baba practices under the Obafemi Institute for the Divine Study of Ifa (O.I.D.S.I.), where he holds his chieftaincy title.
As the founder and creative director of Creative Intelligence Arts Healing (C.I.A.H.), Chief Baba is dedicated to nurturing his godchildren, clients, and fostering a spiritually minded community. His organizational mission is to creatively teach the use of spiritual tools, rituals, and wisdom to develop confident and competent spiritual leaders.
Lindsay Fauntleroy
Lindsay Fauntleroy is the founder and director of the Spirit Seed, and the author of In Our Element: Soul Medicine to Unleash your Personal Power. She was drawn to the healing arts after her own journey to fertility introduced her to the interconnectedness of body, mind, and spirit. Her extensive training includes a Master of Arts from New York University, a Master of Science from Tri-State College of Acupuncture, and clinical training in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Lindsay is currently a doctoral candidate pursuing a PhD in Depth Psychology and Integrative Healing Practices.
Lindsay firmly believes that the power to heal should rest in the hands and hearts of all communities. Her approach to soul medicine emerges from over 15 years of clinical practice, her doctoral research of Indigenous and African Diasporic psychology, and her commitment to community wellness. One of her greatest joys is supervising advanced students in the Spirit Seed clinical residency, as emerging practitioners bring the soulful work of Flower Essence Therapy to diverse communities around the world.
